“Ben built us a pantry and numerous fitted cupboards that involves tricky spaces and wonky walls. he is a skillful carpenter and very knowledgeable about all aspects of cabinetry and DIY. He doesnt mind working with you to evolve the design and has lots of helpful ideas. He carefully researches everything and sends sketches so there is a clear understanding of the scope of work. He is a pleasure to have on site - polite, unobtrusive and tidy. He wont be the cheapest out there but you are paying for skill and care. Always willing to return to fix any issues. I would highly recommend”

"Ben fitted a 2m+ central kitchen island for us, along with a wall unit, glass display cabinet and coffee station. All had solid strip wooden worktop surfaces, the coffee station with a 20cm rounded segment end. He then made a bespoke shelving unit for coffee cups etc, to my slightly quirky design, to fit above the coffee station. Throughout the process, he always came when he said he would, was always punctual, worked persistently (no long tea breaks!) whilst here and made the kitchen clean and tidy before leaving. His work was meticulously precise in the finish, without unnecessarily extending the time frame of the whole job. Ben himself is a lovely guy; someone you would be happy to invite into your home any day of the year. And, dare I say, a rather more friendly, intelligent and interesting individual than your 'average' builder. Take him on, and I'm certain that if he feels he is up to the job, you will be totally satisfied with the outcome."

"Our antique secretary was poorly packed for an overseas move and the decorative trim was utterly ruined. Benjamin managed to replace all the trim and match the stain to perfection. He answered all calls and arrived promptly; scheduled around our family's needs; was polite and left the living room and outdoor workspace very clean. He was clear on his estimate and billed accordingly--my husband and I felt we received incredible value for money. We will recommend. [Ican't seem to upload a 'before photo' without losing the 'after'--trust me--it was destroyed! the workmanship is remarkable!]"
